What if one of the greatest gifts you could give your child was the confidence to handle whatever life puts in front of them?

At Guild of Fighters, our Kids & Teens Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu programme is about much more than learning a martial art. Through Jiu-Jitsu, young people learn how to think under pressure, overcome challenges, work with others and keep going when things get difficult.

They develop physical skills alongside the mental and emotional tools that can help them thrive at school, at home and in everyday life.

Why choose bjj for your child?

Every Jiu-Jitsu class presents a new challenge. Children learn to try, make mistakes, adapt and try again creating a positive cycle that builds confidence and self-belief.

Over time, the lessons learned on the mats can start to appear everywhere else: greater focus at school, more confidence in social situations, a willingness to tackle difficult tasks and the resilience to keep going when things don't come easily.

KIDS JIU-JITSU

Our kids classes combine Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, movement, games and skill-building activities to create an environment where children can learn while having fun.

We understand that every child is different. Some arrive bursting with confidence, while others need a little time to find their feet. Our experienced coaches help each child develop at their own pace, encouraging them to challenge themselves while making sure they feel safe, supported and part of the team and helping them become a more confident, capable and resilient version of themselves.

What They Take Beyond The Mats.

The benefits of BJJ don't stop when class ends.

The confidence to speak up.
The discipline to keep practising.
The resilience to deal with setbacks.
The ability to stay calm under pressure.
The confidence to try something new.

These are skills they'll use for life.

Teen Jiu-Jitsu

confidence for the next chapter

The teenage years come with their own challenges. School, exams, friendships, social pressures and the growing responsibility of becoming an adult can all bring pressure and uncertainty.

Jiu-Jitsu gives teenagers a positive environment where they can challenge themselves, build confidence and develop a strong sense of who they are.

Training teaches them to manage pressure, communicate with others, deal with setbacks and take responsibility for their own progress. It also gives them a healthy physical outlet and a community of people who encourage them to improve.

More Than A Workout

For teenagers, BJJ can help develop:

Confidence - becoming comfortable with challenge and trusting their own abilities.

Discipline - learning that consistent effort creates progress.

Resilience - developing the mindset to deal with setbacks without giving up.

Focus - learning to concentrate and make decisions under pressure.

Respect - understanding how to train hard while looking after the people around them.

Independence - taking ownership of their training, goals and development.

A Community They Can Belong To

Young people need positive ROLE MODELS around them.

At Guild of Fighters, they become part of a community where coaches and training partners encourage one another, celebrate progress and learn together.

Our academy has a genuine family atmosphere, with children, teenagers and parents all training within the Guild. It's a place where young people can make friends, develop confidence and feel that they belong.

A Safe Place To Learn, Grow & Have Fun

Children and teenagers learn best when they feel supported.

That's why our classes combine structured coaching with games, movement and plenty of fun. We create an environment where young people can push themselves without feeling pressured and where progress is celebrated at every level.

Every class is another opportunity to learn something new, overcome a challenge and become a little stronger.
